We are happy to announce a new joint research project in the field of nanoparticle production. Together with our partners Goldfuß engineering GmbH (Balingen), BioTeSys GmbH (Esslingen am Neckar) and Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der angewandten Forschung e.V. (Munich), we will develop a novel and flexible robotics-based approach for the production of diagnostic and/or therapeutic nanoparticles.

Aim of the project is the GMP compliant robotics-based production of nanoparticles for drug-delivery systems in-vitro and in-vivo. Based on our SCORE technology, Biametrics will develop a new analytical method for the process accompanying qualitative and quantitative analysis of these nanoparticles. Thus, the characterisation of several different parameters of the nanoparticles within some few minutes will become feasible.

The project starts on 1st September 2017 with a duration of 2.5 years and is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, BMBF) within its KMU-NetC programme.
